CLASSES WE OFFER
No Experience Necessary Glassblowing
For all "No Experience Necessary" classes, an instructor's hands are on the project at all times, you will use your own hands and breath and pick your own colors to create your unique project. A HOT experience! The minimum age for all of these classes is 12. Prices vary for each class. Your project will be available for pick up 2 to 3 business days after your class or shipped for a fee.
"NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY" BLOWN GLASS ORNAMENTS (LEVEL 0)
With the instructor's hands on your project at all times, choose your own colors and use your own breath and glassblowing tools to experience sculpting a blown glass ornament. Minimum age: 12. Cost: $60 per person
Note: Please wear closed toe shoes, natural fiber clothing or at least not flowing synthetic clothes (cotton is best), and dress in layers (it gets hot).
"NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY" HOT GLASS EGG SHAPED PAPERWEIGHTS (LEVEL 0)
With the instructor's hands on your project at all times, choose your own colors and use glassblowing tools to manipulate and create one of a kind designs in a mass of hot glass. There is no actual blowing into the glass for this class but you WILL get a HOT glass experience! Minimum age: 12. Cost: $65 per person

"THE NEXT" BLOWN GLASS PROJECTS
Level 1
"The Next" level glass blown projects are available to those who have participated in the "No Experience Necessary" classes. Both "No experience" class and "the next" class can be completed on the same day. Class sizes are 2-3 depending on the type of project. If your group is larger than the suggested class size. Please call as adjustments could be made.

BLOWN GLASS PUMPKINS! (LEVEL 1)
Create your own glass blown pumpkin in your own colors to create a festive sculpture all year round. Because of the advanced nature of creating a vessel, each participant will use their hands and breath to create their own sculptural glass pumpkin with an instructor’s hands on the project at all times. Advanced portions of the project will be handled by VGW's glass blowing team. Your choice of color, approx. 3 1/2" diameter. Prerequisite is any Level 0 glass blowing class. Limit 3 per class. Cost: $80
EXQUISITE BLOWN GLASS EGGS (LEVEL 1)
Create your first glass table sculpture or ornament by making a blown glass egg! You will use your breath and hands to create your egg (approximately 4 1/2" -5" tall) with the colors of your choice. In this "next" level class, you will try new pattern making techniques before blowing into the glass. Remember that you must take a "no experience necessary" Level 0 glass course before attending this class. You may take both classes in the same day if necessary. Cost: $75
BLOWN GLASS SNOWMAN! (LEVEL 1)
Create your very own blown glass snowman! With the instructor's hands on the project the entire time, you will choose colors, shape, and blow into your adorable snowman, approximately 6" tall. A pre-requisite of a Level 0 ornament or icicle is required. Cost: $90
STUNNING FLOPPY BOWLS (LEVEL 1)
Create a stunning handblown decorative glass floppy bowl using your own breath! You will choose your own colors and with the glassblower's hands on the project at all times, you will use the glassblowing tools to breathe life into your piece of art which will be approximately 5-6" in diameter. A pre-requisite of any Level 0 (No Experience Necessary) class is required before taking this class.

GLASS BLOWN DRINKING GLASS OR VASE (LEVEL 1)
With an instructor's hands on the project at all times, you will use your own hands and breath to create a drinking glass or small vase, approximately 5-6" in height. You will choose your own colors to make this creation come to fruition. Students should have previous experience in an ornament or icicle one hour experience (Level 0) class. Cost: $90
GLASS BLOWN WINDOW OR WALL ART RONDEL (LEVEL 1)
With an instructor's hands on the project at all times, the student will choose their own colors to create a blown glass rondel for the window or a sculptural circle rondel constructed for the wall. Projects will range in size from 5-6" in diameter. Students must have previous experience in a Level 0 "No Experience Necessary" ornament or icicle class. Cost: $80

We offer multiple levels of stained glass classes from the novice enjoying a night out to the craftsperson who wants to learn all about stained glass. BEGINNING STAINED GLASS ~ HEART
(LEVEL 0)
Have a lovely experience while learning the basics of stained glass. In this one night class, you will learn to cut, foil, and solder a small suncatcher. All materials are included and each piece has their own unique character as each student chooses their own glass. This is your prerequisite class before moving on to create a larger stained glass panel in Advanced Beginner Stained Glass if you choose to. Minimum age: 14. Cost: $60
BEGINNING STAINED GLASS ~ BEVEL SUNCATCHER (LEVEL 0)
Have a lovely experience while learning the basics of stained glass. In this one night class, you will learn to cut, foil, and solder a small suncatcher. In this two-week class (or one Saturday), choose from nine predetermined designs to make a stained glass panel using your own colors. The panels vary in size around approximately 8" x 10". A fun class to advance your foundation skills from the rank beginner class. All materials are included unless you choose to add your own additional glass. Minimum age: 14. Cost: $125

STAINED GLASS QUILT SQUARES (LEVEL 0)
Love the beautiful colors and geometry of a homemade quilt? Create your own for your window by using vibrant or muted colors in this class. In this two-week class, you will choose from multiple quilt square patterns and create an 8" x 8" stained glass pattern in your own colors to decorate your window or place it on a stand for a table decoration. Minimum age: 14 Cost: $85
BEVELED SNOWFLAKE (LEVEL 0)
Splash rainbows of light in your home during the dull winter months by creating this lovely beveled stained glass snowflake. Using precut beveled glass and colored glass nuggets, you will experience stained glass and create your own unique snowflake. The size of the snowflake ranges from a 6" diameter to and 8" diameter. The cost of the class includes the basic bevels for a 6" suncatcher, but if you chose special bevels or a larger size, there will be a $10-15 additional charge. Cost: $85
STAINED GLASS CIRCLE GARDEN STAKE (LEVEL 2)
Stained glass art for your lovely garden! In this class. you will choose from multiple designs, choose your glass and construct a 13" circle stained glass panel to add to a metal stake and create a 42" tall piece of colorful art. Students should complete a Level 0 and 1 stained glass course before. If you have previous experience, please contact the instructor before registration. Cost includes stand and class fee. Additional cost for glass materials will be paid during first week. Cost: $ 225
CHRISTMAS STAINED GLASS SUNCATCHER/ORNAMENT (LEVEL 0)
What a fun way to make an original gift or remembrance and enjoy Christmas festivities! In this fun beginning class, enjoy creating your own stained glass Christmas tree, snowman, snowflake, or angel. You will learn the basics, pick your own colors, and all materials are included in this class. Additional costs for special add-ons may incur based on student choices. Cost: $60
VIBRANT GLASS GARDEN TOTEM
Dalle de Verre
Create an abstract outdoor garden decoration. The glass is large chunks of 1-inch thick glass with roofing granules placed between the glass. A plastic epoxy resin is poured between the chunks. Metal stakes are placed in the epoxy and will stabilize the glass decoration in the garden. All materials are included and no glass cutting experience is necessary. Choose from 3 sizes: 6"x15", 4"x22", or 9"x10" as pictured. Please contact us with the size you choose upon registration. Cost: $95
FUSED GLASS CIRCLE GARDEN STAKE
Fused Glass
Express your creativity to add to your garden! Students will use multiple types of glass to add onto their glass disk to create any design of their choice on the 13" circle. The pieces of glass will be fused together in a kiln and installed into a 42" high metal garden structure. Each project will need to be picked up at a later date. The class includes the cost of all materials and the metal structure. Cost: $145, includes all hardware. Minimum age: 14
STYLIZED GLASS SUNCATCHER/WALL ART
Fused Glass
Break out your inner artist! Create a stylized glass design using vibrant shades of glass and some artistic flair. In this class, you will create 2- 4"x 6" or 1- 8"x 10" fused glass pieces of art that can be a sun catcher, framed, or worked into other stained glass by you. We will provide Spring or St. Patrick's Day designs but all are welcome to create their own. Larger glass art can be created at an additional charge. Ages 10 and up can participate. Cost: $55
SHARD ART
Fused Glass
Shard art is a fun way to create original glass abstract art to decorate your window or windowsill. Using our vibrant and original broken glass ornaments, glasses, and bowls and other glass materials, you can create a beautiful original 4”x11” piece of art. Decorate your windows year-round with your own art! Cost: $60

GLASS SNOWFLAKES
Fused Glass ~ Child Friendly
All ages enjoy creating fun and original snowflakes and Christmas trees out of glass! Using patterns of snowflakes or Christmas trees, small pieces of glass, colored and clear, will be cut by the student and easily assembled. VGW will melt the pieces together after class to create your work of art. Projects will be picked up at a later date. Each student will be able to create one medium and one large project. Additional projects can be created during class for an additional fee. Minimum age: 8-12 (with adult supervision) Cost: $55
MOSAIC GLASS WINDOW/WALL ART
Mosaic Glass
Create your own mosaic glass panel using vibrant colors! In this two-week class, by using premade patterns, your own design, or abstract art, scrap glass pieces will be glued onto a clear glass background and grouted between pieces. The final piece of glass art, which is 8"x10" can be into a picture frame to be hung in a window by the student. Picture frames are not included. If a student is unable to attend the second week, other arrangements may be made. Cost: $85 adult project
MIXED MEDIA BIRDHOUSE
Mosaic Glass
In this two-week class, you will learn the basics of glass mosaic to create an adorable hanging or standing decorative mixed media birdhouse, 6 1/2"x 10"x 9". The glass mosaic will be completed in class, but any decorations to other parts of the birdhouse will be done out of class. On the second week, the mosaic will be completed and your mixed media birdhouse will be constructed. If student is unable to attend second week, arrangements can be made to complete on a different date. Minimum age: 14 Cost: $95
ART GLASS PLATE
Fused Glass
Using a 7" square of glass supplied by VGW, create your own original design on the glass by using scrap glass, frits, powders, confetti, or pre-blown glass. The decorations have beautiful colors that you are able to position in your own special way to make your own work of art that is food safe and dishwasher safe. Village Glass Works will fuse and bend your plate for you to pick up at a later date. (Shipping is available for a small fee.)

Use as many colors as you would like to make a small (6") and a large (9") glass flower or cactus. You will use glass paints, chips of glass, frits, stringers and other materials to make your own original design and let your imagination go! Pot your flower creation in a tiny flower pot and add to your windowsill. More pieces can be made at an additional charge. All materials are included. Minimum age: 10 years Cost: $60
